To provide delegates with clarity of current practice and a vision of the potential of flexible learning.
Expectations of modern learners include technology use in learning and teaching, flexible learning environments and programmes that allow anywhere, anytime learning. The conference focus on flexible learning aims to illuminate learning and teaching research and inquiry that steps beyond the expectations of a 21st century learner.
Offering a rich face-to-face experience blended with synchronous and asynchronous online experiences, the conference is your opportunity to learn, challenge your thinking and be inspired.
Environmentally conscious approach
The FLANZ 2021 conference aims to provide a rich and flexible delegate experience.
The conference will do this by blending physical experiences with synchronous and asynchronous online experiences.
Victoria University of Wellington and satellite venues will offer opportunities for face to face engagement. Online services will allow for live broadcast of presentations as well as online engagement opportunities. Presentations will also be made available online following the conference.

Affordability and flexibility have guided our approach to access to the FLANZ 2021 conference.
Registration includes an optional 12 months membership of FLANZ ($60 value).
Face-to-face attendance at Victoria University of Wellington is purchased separately when delegates register.
Face-to-face attendance at satellite venues are managed independently from the conference registration.
